List Of Web 2.0 Properties

list of web 2.0 sites

[powerpress] Having keyword rich content and links back to your website is extremely effective for increasing your rankings in the search engines or for just being found at all. More often than not visitors will find you through your Facebook page or a YouTube video before they will find your main website. So it is very important to have a serious presence on top web 2.0 properites.

I am finding that YouTube, Digg and Facebook get very high rankings. It is very easy to test this. Simply Google your own domain name. What comes up? Your Facebook fanpage or your main website? This is real rubber meets the road seo. Just see what actually works not what somebody trying to sell you an ebook is
pitching.

I suggest having unique articles and posts on as many web 2.0 properites as possible. These domains are most likely much older than yours and fairly or unfairly they get picked up by the search engines faster than regular old domains. When you think about it why should Digg.com be ranking so high? They are just aggregators of links. No real original content there. But it is what it is. Life is not fair.

So go ahead and start getting content on some of these web 2.0 properties. It is a great idea to interlink them as well. Do not forget to do some promotion of your Web 2.0 pages. Maybe make a YouTube video and link to your WordPress.com page then Digg them both! Good luck and if you have more that have worked well for you please let us know in the comments area. P.S. If you would like to link to this post or your web 2.0 properties it would be much obliged!

Using Pinterest To Influence SEO Efforts
Multilingual Keyword Research

Matt

After a career as a professional musician and band leader in the Miami South Florida Area I decided to see if I could make some money with this new internet thing. After years of trial and error I started to get the hang of it and now I am completely financially independent because of my various online businesses. The goal of this blog is to chronicle my continued marketing experiences. I focus on real examples of what works and what does not work. Google does not give us a recipe for getting our sites ranked. We have to use our own experiences to see what actually works rather than theory. I hope you enjoy the blog. Please let us know what you think in the comments area. We appreciate your feedback.
