Sharebar WordPress Plugin Review And Download (Floating Social Media Bar)

I have been seeing this plugin on some major blogs like Mashable and I like it.

I first starting noticing it because of the odd way it behaves on the site. When you scroll down the site it follow you. This widget is called the Sharebar WordPress Plugin.

So what is Sharebar? It is a WordPress Plugin which makes it quite easy for your visitors to share you blogs posts and pages on their favorite social media sites. Social media is hot especially Facebook. The easier you make it for your visitors to share you content the more they will do so. This in turn means more traffic and fans for your site.

Here are the social media sites that work with Sharebar.

Facebook
Twitter
Digg
Buzz (Google)
Reddit
DZone
StumbleUpon
Buzz Up (Yahoo)
DesignFloat
Email

These are the included options. However, you can also create your own buttons so the options are unlimited.

Sharebar is highly customizable. You can put it on your posts alone, just on your pages. on both or you can just choose to put it on specific pages and posts.
You can adjust the position of the Sharebar, height width and the order of the social media icons you have chosen to display.

You can choose which social media icons to display and even the size of the icons.

In conclusion, I really like the Sharebar. It is not as obtrusive as a regular pop up yet it really gets your attention. I truly believe, as do many major bloggers, that this plugin will help you get more social media interaction on your blog.

You may download the Sharebar WordPress Plugin directly from WordPress.org here.

After a career as a professional musician and band leader in the Miami South Florida Area I decided to see if I could make some money with this new internet thing. After years of trial and error I started to get the hang of it and now I am completely financially independent because of my various online businesses. The goal of this blog is to chronicle my continued marketing experiences. I focus on real examples of what works and what does not work. Google does not give us a recipe for getting our sites ranked. We have to use our own experiences to see what actually works rather than theory. I hope you enjoy the blog. Please let us know what you think in the comments area. We appreciate your feedback.
