Jeff Johnsons Traffic Vodoo 2.0 “Cross Polination Anyone?”

Jeff Johnson is obviously very bright and very successful internet entrepreneur. He has a course which is supposed to teach us how to get non stop traffic. Specifically he promised to give us 11 ways to get non stop traffic in his two intro videos. I listened to the videos and took the notes below. Basically other than putting calls to action and keyword tags in your videos he really did not give any hard core traffic techniques. I did get to hear how successful he is over and over though. I also learned that YouTube has lots of traffic. C’mon Jeff give us something we can dig our teeth into! How about 1 technique that really works to generate lots of traffic without having a list? Lay one on us dude! I know these videos are a build up of a re launch to your course. Something tells me it is not going to be $5.

I actually got a lot more meat out of the Youtube Sniper course I bought on the Warriors Forum for $15. They methodically explained some techniques that a beginner could use to get lots of traffic and that I believe will work. And Vivek Narayan’s course simply blows Jeff away and it costs 5 dollars. Totally insane. I do not like to be negative but it just rubs me the wrong way when someone who obviously knows how to get traffic big time holds back on the information. I did not need to listen to 40 minutes of video to learn how great Jeff was, to put keywords tags in my videos and to remember to use calls to action. Oh yes and one great tip was to “cross polinate.” This is Jeff’s term form simply putting your videos on your blogs. Geeezz!! Here is the comment I left on his blog:

I took notes while listening to your video because I am insane. Here is what I learned:

I know that you are successful
I know that you and your brother got
screwed by Google (me too)
I know that YouTube has lots of traffic.

I know that I should load videos by hand

“YouTube Bounce Back Strategy”
Simply means to put a call to action in the video.

I learned you have a video with 271,000 views. Cool!
(How did you do this? By uploading
your video by hand and having proper tags? I think you
did more than this. Care to share how?)

I learned that I should put keywords in the title, tags and
description of my videos.

I should again tell people to specifically comment, like share,
“cross polinate(see below), and buy what I am
selling in the video.

I should put my videos on my blogs. This is called “cross polination.”

I should build an email list. If I have a big one I can just
push send and make money.(How do I get the traffic to build this list?)

Once I get people on my list I should get them to open the email
using curiosity, bold statement, humour and controversey.

Also, do not forget the strong calls to action in the
emails themselves. Bounce back I mean.

Do not use the word money back guarantee.
It will get blocked by the spam filters.

Tell them there is a guarantee anyway with other words. “Trial period.”

Give them a personal reference.

Offer a bonus product so people do not sign up
with their own Clickbank link.

“Facebook Push”

Use Linksalpha.com to link your blog
to various social media outlets.
(Thank you for this tip. This one is good.)

Again use keword rich title tags.
Got it, use keywords.

Get incoming links to your videos. Ideas how to do this?

Basically you have told us how to maximize our current
traffic which is great. But just tagging our videos, putting videos
on our blogs, and linking our Facebook accounts to our blogs is not
going to get us lots of traffic if we do not have lots of traffic
already.

Please give us 1 real technique that someone can use
who has no list, to get server crushing traffic relatively quickly
and for free.

I know you can do it. A little more “meat” please. Thank you for the video.

Rant Out.

After a career as a professional musician and band leader in the Miami South Florida Area I decided to see if I could make some money with this new internet thing. After years of trial and error I started to get the hang of it and now I am completely financially independent because of my various online businesses. The goal of this blog is to chronicle my continued marketing experiences. I focus on real examples of what works and what does not work. Google does not give us a recipe for getting our sites ranked. We have to use our own experiences to see what actually works rather than theory. I hope you enjoy the blog. Please let us know what you think in the comments area. We appreciate your feedback.
