Using Blogger’s PR To Generate Recurring Affiliate Commissions

I just set up another blog called the Classified Guy’s Blog. I did not set it up on my own domain I set it up with Blogger.com. I have my own dedicated server, I have unlimited licenses for premium wordpress themes and I can set them up in my sleep. Why did I set up a Blogger.com blog? These guys have some serious PR (pagerank.) It is no big surprise that properties that Google owns rank very well in Google searches. Blogger.com has a PR of 8 which is definitely higher than any blog I own.

Blogger.com Has A PR Rating Of 8 Which Rocks. No Surprise Blogger Is Owned By Google.

I believe in having your own blog but you can also compliment your own blog with another blog on the blogger.com platform. You can write articles on the Blogger.com blog then link to your main blog giving you some juicy backlinks.

The goal of the blog is to promote my classified ad submission service. My strategy is to just feature all kinds of crazy articles about classified ads. There are all kinds of high profile stories about classifieds. There was even a movie made about craigslist called the “Craigslist Murders.” There are stories about the Backpage.com escort ads controversey, first amendment issues and on and on.

The Goal Of The Blog Is To Promote My Classified Ad Submission Service.

I am going to get articles from everywhere, link to them, post them, write my own and just have fun with the subject. All the posts will have my banners linking to the classified ad submission program which promote my classified ad submission service. I am not using any Adsense of this blog. I also am including an opt in form for my mailing list on each post.

I Am Going To Let It All Hang Out And Have Fun With This Blog. Controversey Is Cool.

This is a huge advantage of blogger.com over wordpress.com. WordPress.com does not allow you to put a newsletter subscription form on your wordpress.com blog. (WordPress.com is the blogging platform which is run on their servers. You can download the wordpress software to use on your own domain at wordpress.org.) This is one reason I chose to use Blogger.com over wordpress.com.

I am just going to have fun with this blog. I will find interesting articles and videos related to classified ads and post them. I will write my own. It may get a little racy. It is not going to be strictly marketing related though I will have marketing articles too. The ideas is to generate traffic related to classified ads and send them to my newsletter and get subscribers to my classified ads submission service.

You Can Copy Me And Earn Recurring Affiliate Commissions

Here is the good news. You can copy me! It is free. Go ahead and set up your own classified ads blog on Blogger.com and start collecting articles and videos from all over the web. (If you produce the whole article you must get permission. If you quote articles always leave a link back to the original.)

Sign up for the classified ad submission affiliate program here. Get some banners with your affiliate link here. Then start writing and promoting classified ad type articles on your own blogger.com blog. Your posts will get indexed much faster than they would on your own domain.

You can even include a subscription form to YOUR newsletter on each post to get more subscribers. So you can earn recurring commissions from the classified ad submission program plus you can increase your newsletter readership. Win win!

After a career as a professional musician and band leader in the Miami South Florida Area I decided to see if I could make some money with this new internet thing. After years of trial and error I started to get the hang of it and now I am completely financially independent because of my various online businesses. The goal of this blog is to chronicle my continued marketing experiences. I focus on real examples of what works and what does not work. Google does not give us a recipe for getting our sites ranked. We have to use our own experiences to see what actually works rather than theory. I hope you enjoy the blog. Please let us know what you think in the comments area. We appreciate your feedback.
