A Very Creative Spam Comment

I found this comment on my blog today: “Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Firefox. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The design and style look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Cheers”

It almost got me. I checked my page and then I realized that is was a clever spam comment. I use Firefox all the time and the words are not running of the screen. I use the Genesis Framework Premium theme and yes they optimize for Firefox. Count on it.

I am sometimes tickled at the creativity of some spammers. The link went to a Nike page and I have deleted tons of Nike spam from my forum n the past. These Nike guys spam like crazy.

I wonder if they would take some time and use that creativity to write some real comments if they would get better results?

Do you have any of your favorite spam comments that you would like to share?

After a career as a professional musician and band leader in the Miami South Florida Area I decided to see if I could make some money with this new internet thing. After years of trial and error I started to get the hang of it and now I am completely financially independent because of my various online businesses. The goal of this blog is to chronicle my continued marketing experiences. I focus on real examples of what works and what does not work. Google does not give us a recipe for getting our sites ranked. We have to use our own experiences to see what actually works rather than theory. I hope you enjoy the blog. Please let us know what you think in the comments area. We appreciate your feedback.
